Hausco was born from the intersection of customer experience and hands-on renovation work. Having flipped homes in Hudson, NY and Bellport, NY, the work speaks for itself, knowing what it takes to see a property's potential and execute on it.

Think of Hausco as a consultancy for renovation, design, and flipping. A wingman through the buying and building process. Not a realtor, but someone who knows the landscape better than most. Hausco Homes continues to renovate and flip its own properties while also consulting on outside projects.

The homebuying landscape is shifting in ways that make this work more relevant than ever. In 2010, the median age of a first-time homebuyer was 30. By 2024 that number had climbed to 38, and by 2025 it hit an all-time high of 40, while the share of first-time buyers dropped to a record low of just 21% of all purchases. At the same time, average household size is deciling, driven by a longer-term trend toward smaller, single-person households.

What this means in practice: buyers are entering the market older, more discerning, and with higher expectations for what a space should do for them. They've spent more years figuring out what they like, traveling, and consuming design content. They know what good looks like. They just need the right partner to help get there.

Hi, I'm Peter.

I grew up with a deep appreciation for real estate, design, and the craft of making spaces better. Raised in the suburbs of New York, with time in Boston and Los Angeles, I now call Greenpoint, Brooklyn home.

My career has spanned advertising, media, and tech — most recently at Amazon in a Product Commercialization role where I led customer research, developed product strategy, and drove go-to-market execution. The through line across all of it has been the same: building experiences that leave people better than they found them.

Outside of work I'm drawn to wellness, hiking, and getting out of the city. There's something about the mountains or the ocean that resets everything.
